Marigold Revival Kitchen Remodel - Fairmount

Tucked into Philadelphia’s Fairmount neighborhood, this 1930s-inspired kitchen remodel was designed for homeowners who truly love to cook. Working within just 80 square feet, the space was carefully reimagined to support serious, everyday cooking while honoring the home’s original character.

By relocating the entryway to the center of the wall, removing the soffit, and thoughtfully closing off a window, we unlocked the opportunity for full-height custom cabinetry and dramatically increased storage without sacrificing warmth or soul. A bold Gambol Gold cabinet palette sets the tone, balanced by grounding materials chosen for both beauty and durability: walnut-finished floors, a refurbished original 1930s walnut door, creamy zellige backsplash tiles, warm white walls, and traditional bronze cabinet hardware.

A vintage-inspired bronze bridge faucet paired with a classic farmhouse sink nods to the home’s era, while a timeless Schoolhouse light fixture adds character overhead. High-performance Fisher & Paykel appliances — including a sleek induction range — support the homeowners’ culinary lifestyle, seamlessly blending modern capability with period-inspired design. The result is a true revival: a compact kitchen tailored to how its owners live, cook, and gather every day.

Eclectic Victorian Row Home - Passyunk

A historic home shouldn’t feel like a time capsule. It should feel like a story still unfolding.

This Victorian rowhome already carried its own character, from soaring ceilings and original trim to the quirks that only time can create. Our role was to bring the home forward without erasing its history, allowing old and new to coexist with intention.

Layered wallpapers, rich color moments, sculptural lighting, and a curated mix of vintage and contemporary pieces give each space its own identity while maintaining a cohesive narrative throughout the home. The result is a lived-in, artful interior where Victorian bones and modern expression meet with confidence and ease.

Boho Bachelor Daddy Pad - Bryn Mawr

Bachelor spaces don’t need to default to neutral or utilitarian. They can be layered, expressive, and deeply personal.

This Bryn Mawr condo blends masculinity with warmth and play, balancing high-contrast moments with soft, expressive details. Layered wallpapers, unexpected pink tones, vintage-meets-modern furnishings, and art chosen for meaning and conversation create a home that feels confident and lived-in rather than styled or staged.

Each space carries its own rhythm while remaining connected through color, texture, and storytelling. The result is a bold, collected interior that reflects the client’s personality and challenges what a bachelor home is expected to be.

Not Your Typical Bachelor Pad - Bryn Mawr

Philly Reverie - Passyunk

Sports-inspired spaces don’t need to feel literal or juvenile. They can feel nostalgic, elevated, and unmistakably grown.

Philly Reverie reimagines three bedrooms as an editorial tribute to the city, each offering an abstract nod to the Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles. Expressive wallpaper, sculptural lighting, and moody, sophisticated palettes reference each team through color and feeling rather than overt décor. Black-and-white Philadelphia photography grounds the spaces in memory and place, giving each room a quiet, cinematic tone.

The rooftop extends the narrative upward with a simple, modern city retreat designed for everyday living. Comfortable seating, a weatherproof television, and a streamlined dry bar create a space that’s equally suited for slow mornings, evening conversations, or game-day gatherings.

The result is a layered, story-driven home that celebrates Philadelphia through mood, texture, and restraint — a reverie of hometown pride interpreted with editorial sophistication.

The Sloped Sanctuary - Old City

A rental can be many things. Uninspired isn’t one of them.

This Old City studio had strong bones, generous height, and architectural quirks, but little sense of intention. Rather than fighting the constraints, the design leaned into them, rebuilding the story from the inside out and shaping meaning into every slope, corner, and sightline.

Nature-inspired wallpapers introduce mood and movement, while sleek, masculine elements are balanced with midcentury curves and warm materials. Industrial details are softened by rich texture, layered woods, and refined finishes, allowing the open-concept space to feel collected rather than chaotic.

The result is a deeply personal retreat that feels expressive, grounded, and editorial. A sanctuary shaped by limits, designed to reflect the life being lived inside it.

The Baltic Retreat - Fishtown

A bedroom should feel like a place to land. Quiet, grounding, and deeply restorative.

For this Fishtown home, the goal was to create a moody coastal retreat rooted in calm and intention. A deep blue-grey palette sets the tone, evoking stormy skies and still water, while soft textures, layered neutrals, and subtle wood tones create a sense of warmth and ease. Brass accents introduce contrast, gently warming the cool palette.

Custom built-ins with an integrated bench transform underused wall space into functional serenity, allowing the room to feel both considered and lived-in. The result is a space designed for restoration and reflection — a bedroom that invites pause, presence, and exhale-level calm.

Mediterranean Mosaic - Queen Village

A bathroom should feel restorative, not unresolved. In this Queen Village home, the goal was to create a space that offers a sense of presence and escape within the rhythm of daily life.

Dated subway tile was replaced with warm, neutral zellige laid in a parquet pattern, introducing soft movement and an old-world sensibility. At the base, square agave zellige adds a playful counterpoint, grounding the space with subtle variation. Underfoot, a bold Blume deco tile blends heritage and modernity, setting a sun-warmed, cinematic tone.

In the shower, a thoughtfully composed niche brings all three tiles together, highlighting craftsmanship and material contrast. A walnut herringbone vanity, braided oval mirror, and warm brass accents complete the space, layering texture and warmth without excess.

The result is a richly layered guest bath that feels transportive yet grounded — a Mediterranean-inspired retreat tucked into a Philadelphia home.

Epoxy Noir Loft - Northern Liberties

Most lofts lean industrial. This one was designed to feel expressive, layered, and alive.

Epoxy Noir reimagines a raw Northern Liberties loft as an art-forward sanctuary defined by contrast and movement. Multi-colored epoxy floors ripple beneath matte black walls and statement lighting, creating a moody, high-impact backdrop that feels energized rather than stark.

A surprising counterpoint unfolds in the children’s bedroom, where a Moana-inspired design introduces lightness, color, and narrative. Ocean blues, watercolor florals, and playful patterning create a joyful retreat that softens the loft’s edge, demonstrating how bold design can adapt to the needs and personalities within a single home.

The result is a home that balances energy with comfort — a loft shaped by intentional contrast, fearless creativity, and deeply personal storytelling.

Special Spanish Abode - Bella Vista

A home should feel immersive, grounding, and quietly transportive.

This Bella Vista rowhome was reimagined as a warm, Iberian-inspired retreat, layered with texture, color, and old-world influence. Stucco-like finishes, terracotta hues, and Portuguese-meets-Spanish pattern play establish a sense of heritage, while clean modern lines keep the spaces feeling fresh and livable.

Throughout the home, carved wood details, golden light, and tactile materials create an atmosphere of ease and familiarity — the kind of coziness often found in homes shaped slowly over time. The result is a sun-warmed, deeply personal interior that feels rooted in tradition while fully present in its setting.

Purple Philly Townhouse - Fishtown

Neutral homes are safe. This one chose to be expressive.

The Mauve Manifesto reimagines a personality-free Philadelphia new-build as a richly layered townhouse rooted in color, rhythm, and self-expression. What began as white walls and blonde floors is now anchored by a full-spectrum palette of plum, mauve, raspberry, and deep maroon — a cohesive color story that carries through every level of the home.

A custom Poetry Plum fireplace sets the tone, paired with Chaise Mauve walls and eclectic, midcentury-leaning furnishings. Blonde woods are balanced with walnut for warmth, while bold portrait art and sculptural lighting introduce energy and soul without overwhelming the space.

Upstairs, an Art Deco–inspired bar lounge becomes a jewel-like retreat, layered with velvet, pattern, and mood. Down the hall, the bedroom leans quietly seductive, using texture and contrast to create drama with intention rather than excess.

Still unfolding, The Mauve Manifesto stands as a confident declaration of color, character, and lived-in luxury — a modern Philadelphia home designed to feel unapologetically personal.

Eclectic Color Splash - Germantown

This Germantown home was newly renovated, but still felt unfinished. Rather than introducing more construction, the focus was on alignment.

Through a considered use of color, pattern, and custom framing, the space was activated with personality and depth. Each choice was deliberate, allowing the architecture to breathe while giving the home a sense of lived-in energy.
The result is a layered, eclectic interior that feels complete, expressive, and distinctly personal.

Intentional Eclecticism - Germantown

Contemporary Historic Townhouse

In this historic townhouse, the goal was not preservation for preservation’s sake, but evolution with intention. Modern traditional foundations were layered with eclectic, contemporary elements to create spaces that feel both grounded and expressive.

Earthy chinoiserie wallpaper in the dining room is contrasted by a dark, shell-inspired wallcovering in the adjoining office, creating distinct moods while maintaining cohesion. Floor-to-ceiling wainscoting was introduced to extend the home’s architectural character and anchor the layered finishes.

Personal expression plays a central role throughout, with African art and equestrian pieces woven into the design to reflect the client’s interests. A provincial, estate-style mahogany dining table and lush velvet drapery complete the spaces, lending warmth, depth, and a sense of quiet grandeur.

Layered Legacy — Historic Townhouse

Lansdowne Remodel

This Lansdowne home underwent a full, design-led remodel guided by contrast, restraint, and material clarity. Rather than layering excess, the focus was on a tightly edited palette that feels bold yet composed.

In the kitchen, bespoke black cabinetry anchors the space, paired with black marble flooring and crisp white quartz surfaces for striking contrast. Each material was selected to balance weight and light, creating a space that feels graphic without feeling cold.

The ensuite bath continues the narrative with floor-to-ceiling porcelain slab walls, a sculptural copper soaking tub, and a floating walnut double vanity. The combination introduces warmth and tactility while maintaining a refined, modern edge.

Together, the spaces feel cohesive, confident, and intentionally refined.
