From overwhelm to vision
Inspiration saved everywhere and no through-line. We translate everything you're drawn to into one clear design direction — the colors, textures, and emotional cues that make every later decision easy.
Full-service interior design · Philadelphia
Empty, inherited, or pieced together over the years — we turn it into a vibrant, cohesive retreat rooted in your vision, designed for the way you actually live, host, and unwind.
Most recently featured in Modern Luxury — Philadelphia Style, recognized for bold, personalized residential design in Philadelphia.
Who we are
K&B Interiors started with our own renovation — a second home with beige “ready to sell” walls, dated finishes, and undeniably good bones: a sunken living room, a dramatic brick fireplace, a two-story foyer. We went all in, and it became the work.
Kevin came to design from Industrial & Operations Engineering, trained to think in systems and find the most efficient path from where something is to where it should be, then completed the New York Institute of Art & Design program in three months. Braden, a chemist and biologist by training, taught himself flooring during that renovation and launched a business off it. A couple of years later we moved to Philadelphia and grew it into a full-service studio.
No two homes look the same, because no two clients are the same.
We design homes that feel collected rather than decorated — old blended with new, vintage pieces reupholstered and reimagined alongside contemporary ones, and the immovable bones (fireplaces, built-ins, architectural details) treated with as much care as anything you can move.

What to expect
Designing a home should feel exciting and intentional — not overwhelming, unclear, or steamrolled by a designer. Our three-phase process pairs a trained eye with your lived reality.
Inspiration saved everywhere and no through-line. We translate everything you're drawn to into one clear design direction — the colors, textures, and emotional cues that make every later decision easy.
A complete visual language for the home, so every room relates, responds, and flows. Beautiful pieces stop competing and start belonging to the same story.
Sourcing, coordination, installation, final styling — we manage every moving part, so you step into a home that feels finished, effortless, and deeply personal.
Three phases. One cohesive, elevated home.
Not ready for a full project?
One hour with a designer on the room that isn't working. An honest audit of what's helping and what's hurting, a keep-vs-toss verdict on the pieces you already own, and the two or three big moves that actually change the space.
You leave with a one-page plan — and no more guessing.
Our work
Our clients are usually the ones whose homes their friends secretly wish they had the courage to create themselves. Tap any project to view the full gallery.
The experience
We don't come from a traditional design background, and it shows up in the best way: structured, transparent, and deeply invested in getting it right all the way through.
Statement pieces mixed with smart decisions, so the home feels elevated and livable. You can touch and admire everything.
Present, communicative, and involved from first concept through final install. No disappearing acts.
Flat-fee design. No surprise invoices weeks later — you always know where things stand.
No overwhelming decks or pressure to approve everything at once. Just tailored direction you can actually respond to.
We're constantly exploring new vendors and materials, because your home shouldn't look like anyone else's.
Text, call, or email — whatever works. We meet you where you are.

Investment & logistics
Most projects land between $50K and $250K all-in, across five- and six-figure investments.
A flat fee based on overall budget, estimated hours, and square footage — not a running hourly meter.
Focused, single-space projects run around three months; whole-home projects around six.
Everything but art, which we treat as a collaboration. We also design around pieces you already love.
Yes. Sentimental and vintage pieces get reupholstered, refinished, and worked back in.
